These Membership Terms apply to all situations in which you purchase, receive, or use Yuann membership (VIP). They supplement the Terms of Service. Using paid subscriptions or claiming gifted VIP constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
The data controller for this App is the Yuann team, located in mainland China. This team is solely responsible for all data compliance matters.
【Paid Membership】Continuous monthly/quarterly/yearly subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.
【Gifted VIP】Membership duration obtained through consecutive check-in achievements (7/15/30/90/180/270/365/450/540/630/720-day tiers) or invite-a-friend and similar activities.
Paid subscription members and gifted VIP share some core benefits such as AI deep analysis and emotion reports; cloud sync is available to paid subscription members only, as detailed in Section 3 of these Terms.
Benefits may include, without limitation: AI diary emotion deep analysis, full emotion reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly), cloud sync and data recovery, and future member-exclusive features. We may optimize benefit composition; material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance through in-app dialog or announcements.
New paid-exclusive features added later may be offered only to paid subscription members; gifted VIP users do not automatically unlock such new features unless we announce otherwise.
Free users may use basic local diary recording only. AI deep analysis, full yearly emotion reports, high-capacity cloud sync, and similar capabilities are available to members only.
Only paid subscription members may use cloud sync. Free users may store diaries locally only and have no cloud sync access.
Paid prices are as shown in the app store at purchase, including applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Apple or Google. We do not store full payment card information.
【Auto-Renewal】Monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions: if you do not cancel, you are charged again at the end of each billing period and membership continues; after you cancel, the next period is not charged automatically.
【What “can cancel anytime” means】In the App, “can cancel anytime” means you may cancel auto-renewal / continuous subscription at any time (stop the next automatic charge)—not that you can get an immediate refund or instantly end membership you already paid for in the current period.
【Current period is generally non-refundable】Fees already paid for the current billing period are generally not refunded. After you cancel auto-renewal, all membership benefits for the current period remain available until that period ends and do not end early because of cancellation.
【Billing Cycle】Your chosen plan is charged automatically at the end of each period at the price shown in the store for that renewal.
【Renewal Reminder】We will remind you through in-app local notifications before billing (target: 3 days before charge).
【How to Cancel】Cancel under iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions. After a successful cancellation, the next billing period is not charged.
【Important Confirmation】You confirm that subscriptions auto-renew by default; “can cancel anytime” only stops future auto-renewal; the paid current period is not refunded because of cancellation, and benefits last until expiry.
Subscription refunds and billing disputes are handled entirely under Apple App Store / Google Play policies; this platform does not arbitrate store orders.
【How to Obtain】Complete consecutive check-in achievement tiers or eligible invite activities. Current check-in tiers and gifted days: 7 days→3 days, 15 days→5 days, 30 days→8 days, 90 days→15 days, 180 days→20 days, 270 days→25 days, 365/450/540/630/720 days→30 days VIP each (as shown in the App).
【Stacking】Gifted days generally stack after your current membership expiry, as settled in the App. There is no hard cap on total gifted VIP duration held by an account, but a single achievement tier may not exceed 180 gifted days; we may adjust activity tiers with 30 days' in-app notice but may not exceed the 180-day per-tier cap.
【Broken Streak】If consecutive check-in is interrupted, the count resets; claimed rewards are not revoked.
【Restrictions】Gifted VIP is non-refundable, non-cashable, and non-transferable; gifted duration is cleared when the account is deleted.
【Anti-Cheating】For multi-account check-in farming, scripted check-ins, fake invites, and similar abuse, we may revoke all gifted duration and freeze membership without compensation.
Canceling auto-renewal is not a refund: after you cancel a continuous subscription, the paid current billing period is generally not refunded—only the next period stops being charged. Whether a refund is granted follows app store rules and the outcome of any claim you file with the store.
Only 【paid purchases】may be eligible for refunds. The only official channel for paid subscription refunds is Apple App Store or Google Play; this platform cannot directly process store order refunds and may only assist in verifying account and membership status.
Gifted VIP is non-refundable under all circumstances. For mistaken charges, appeal to the app store first, or email yuannteam@gmail.com.
If you exploit vulnerabilities, operate multiple accounts, commit fraudulent reward claims, attack payment or membership systems, we may freeze or terminate membership. Consumed gifted benefits are not refunded; paid portions are handled under store rules.
When membership expires or is not renewed, advanced features (including AI deep analysis, full emotion reports, cloud sync, and the like) stop. Diaries saved locally on your device remain permanently and are unaffected; you retain ownership.
We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance. Continued use of paid services or claiming gifted benefits constitutes acceptance of revised Terms (except where law provides otherwise).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If a dispute arises, the parties will first try to resolve it by email. If negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in the people's court where the operating entity is located. Users outside China may choose to apply mandatory local law where applicable.
